Real Living for Freedom: How to give your bedroom a winter makeover

Our new collaboration with Real Living has launched today – a punchy play of patterns and prints, resulting in an eclectic collection that’s ready to inject warmth and wit into your home.

Today we’re sharing ideas on how to introduce the collection to your home.

1. Embrace the clash: There’s no need to go matchy-matchy, we love print and pattern play – mix florals back with contrasting florals, layer with checks, paisleys and old-school prints for visual warmth and that real olde worlde charm.

2. Layer up: Textures are a huge part of the Real Living for Freedom collection, by introducing the chunky knits to the slub of the linen-look cushion, it can create visual interest, add warmth and make for a really tactile space. Nothing beats diving under the covers mid-winter under layers of texture.

3. Add some quirk: The new lighting collection is a subtle nod to vintage-industrial trends. The Lucky Table Lamp offers form and function, the retro-look styling is a celebration of old-school good looks; the hand-stitched leather Serious Table Lamp is seriously timeless and stylish. Layer these back with the Peg Rack (handy for photos, inspiration, swatches etc) reminiscent of a vintage bed base, it dials up the best of yesteryear without the dust.

4. Warm it up: Grab a cup of hot chocolate and dig into your favourite Enid Blyton books with the Adele mug in hand. Get back to your roots with the enamel pieces that conjure your best childhood memories – and bring them back to life.

The Real Living for Freedom collection is available in store and online now.
